Joe Mullin,
VP/Clock Tower Place, accepts a donation
for the Tsunami Relief Fund from Sue Pozerycki
(Flower Pot) as Terry Pozerycki looks
on.
Responding
to crisis and promoting global citizenship
are not only two of Oxfam
America’s main objectives, it’s
a responsibility we all share. In order
to help rebuild communities and give hope
to families devastated by natural disasters,
we all must unite to offer both immediate
assistance and ongoing rehabilitation
support.
Starting in Maynard, the Tsunami Relief
Fund will help improve living conditions
for tsunami victims and help educate our
citizens on global social responsibility.
"It's a small world these days,
and we're all neighbors even brothers
and sisters. We need to take care of each
other in any way we can."
Joe Mullin,
VP of Public Affairs

Many thanks to all involved! Collectively,
we’re doing our part to help support
the families and communities devastated
by the earthquakes and tidal waves that
swept through the Indian Ocean areas of
Africa and Asia. Students, Maynard-based
workers, and town residents generously reached
into their pocketbooks and hearts on Valentine’s
Day.
